I Read You Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

I Read You

When I read your poems
I get a glimpse of a page
Of you as a book that comes
To being from mere wordage.

The touching lines, they carry
Pages of days gone by
Colored by feelings that vary
Smiles or tears in the eye.

I do not flip through them
Like a random moment's read
I walk with what you've written
Follow your thoughts where they lead.

The Book is you and it's lovely
Whatever the outcome I am sure
Will become your Life poetry
and through Time, that work endures!
