As they say. A friend in need. Is a friend indeed.
In the case it didnt count
All you gave me
Were your tears.
Your hurtful words.
Your painful looks.
I stood by your for watever
Through good and bad.
Through happy and sad.
You gave me nothing
But the biggest thing.
Without you I would not be me.
I would not learn to hold tears.
I would not be able to block out words.
I would not be able to blank out looks.
Today i thank you. For the pain you have caused me,
had made me me.
But today it ends.
I have learned enough.
I have pretended too long.
I have hoped and wished for one day you would treat me with the respect i deserve.
But you cant imagine that anyone could be higher than you.
I thankyou for your time.
But i owe you nothing.
