I Never Should Have Said I Loved You Poem by Clay Kohut

I Never Should Have Said I Loved You

Never should have said I loved you
You said it first, what could I do
I woke up naked; you were too
I thought we were just having fun

As if my room is not a mess
you make it your new home address
I'd truly like to see you less
I swear I'm about to run

I'm quite sick of this already
here's my pistol, hold it steady
pull the trigger, yes I'm ready
I'm ready to end it all
