I'M Realising Poem by Ant Weston

I'M Realising

Shut all the lights down and show me what you're worth,
May I remind you that giving is a curse,
And I know, you're the one who told me years ago,
That I wouldn't make it on my own.

I'm realising, that I'm not the man you knew,
I know you'll see it in time.

Turn all the lights on and tell me who you are,
You're like a shadow that always hunts me down,
And I know, you're the one who left me years ago,
And I have made it on my own.

I'm realising, that I'm not the man you knew,
I know you'll see it in time.
