I'M Dreaming Poem by DENNIS LONG

I'M Dreaming

the suicide of whales
a friendly porpoise
are beds seas?
are lovers fish?
workers dream of nights like these
by the morning fire
at the breakfast dishes

love pushes through the filters
but the wheels are calling go

how well the workers went to work
and the children off to school
