I Love You Mom Poem by Hamsa Elfarash

I Love You Mom

Mom I'm sorry for all the tough times I put you through,
I think it's the right time to say I love you,
Mom this is coming from my heart,
I guess it's the best way to start.

I'm sorry for all the fights I started with you,
Just remember mom I want to start anew,
Neither more fights nor cries,
It's time for forgiveness to rise.

All of the things I'm going through,
Make me realize how much you're true,
There are times I feel so ashamed,
It's my own fault and I am to be blamed.
I know I've made mistakes,
so why should I even try?
For when you look at me,
all you see is that I lie.

Sorry for not doing the things you wanted me to do,
I feel guilty and it's extremely true,
Upsetting you was the last thing on mind,
So please leave everything behind.

I don't know what to tell,
For I see your pain as well,
All I ask is one thing to see,
Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?

You are the one that cares for me,
You are the eyes that help me see,
You are the one that knows me best,
You are my favorite from east to west.

Mom, it’s hard to find words to say,
How much you mean to me,
But if it wasn’t for your love and care,
I don’t know where I'd be.

I love you so much,
You are not like another,
I'll love you forever,
'Cause you are my Mother.

I thank you Mom for bearing me,
And allowing me to see these times,
Because if it wasn't for you dear Mother,
I could never write down these lines.

So let me thank you Mother,
For all the kind things you do,
You make me so very proud,
And Mother, 'I Love You'!
