I live in an endless contradiction in feelings and moods
Within myself at once there are many up and down worlds
I try to be true to a certain courage in going on
But discouragement is often the predominant tone
I often want to give up
While knowing I must do the best to go on
I know I am not the best self I should be
Not in faith in love in anything
But I am not bad or evil intentioned or cruel or heartless
I care and I try to help others
This is my first impulse
I am however too afraid
To ever really risk in the right way
To create a better world.
