I Like To Forget
'I like to forget
that you are not well
and I like to take
all the bitterness it makes
for in moments
when I'm alone
my sadden thoughts
sinks to rest
all stressful emotions
and sadness
clinging in my chest
the skies is aware
of the struggles
happening in the air
the drooping leaves
have to accept
the simple truth
that all will fall
and a heart that grieved
has to show
to the world
it has to fight and live.'
