I Know Who I Am Poem by Randy McClave

I Know Who I Am

I'll never be caught cheating
A woman I'll never be accused of beating,
I'll never be heard lying
Nor anyone will I ever be denying.
Never promises will I ever break
Or any person will I ever forsake,
Whether I travel near or far
I'll always remember who they are.

I'll never be caught gossiping or telling stories
Created in my mind or invented in laboratories,
A person I will never ever trick or use
A person I could not or would not ever abuse.
And even for three pieces of silver
Never will I be called a betrayer or a deceiver,
And when I think of pain and sin
I will always remember where others have been.

I'll never be caught stealing
Or deliberately causing the pain a person is feeling,
Never will I think that I am better than anyone
Whether they are here, or when they are gone.
Never will I talk behind anyone's back
Never will I ever do a dirty sneak attack,
And never will a person's life will I ever shame or slam
Because, I know exactly who I am.
