I Just Wanted To Say Poem by Ray Hansell

I Just Wanted To Say

In the quiet of the evening
In a room where lights are dim
You and I sit together
In a place we've always been

So many memories we've shared
So many new one's to still make
I knew that falling in love with you
Would never be a mistake

I know that both of our lives
Are in the autumn years
Most of the time filled with laughter
Now and again a few tears

But the greatest memory of them all
Was that we got to do it all together
I just wanted to say thank you
For loving me forever
