I Just Can'T Live Without You Poem by Selina Gurgacz

There are times when I just don’t know what to say,
Or know what these feelings mean.
But when I’m around you,
All my troubles go away,
I forget about the things
That are going wrong in my life.

My minds is on you,
I sometimes get butterflies in my stomach.
Why, oh why?
I don’t understand,
What this all means.
Is it the connection that should happen,
Between two people,
That are like brother and sister?
Or is it that feeling that you are ‘the one’?
My soul mate?

I just don’t know what to make of these things,
That your face lights up like a Christmas tree,
That you smile like a Cheshire cat,
Whenever you see me,
Or when our eyes connect.

Though I do believe that you are ‘the one’,
As I don’t know whether I like any other guy,
Whether I have a crush on someone else,
Besides you.

I don’t know whether I’ll be able to live with myself,
If you move away,
Away from the city that we both live in.
I won’t be able to cope,
With the knowingness,
That I might never see you again.

One thing that I do know,
Is that I can’t live without you.
I love you more than anyone or anything in the world,
But do you feel the same way?
