I hear my lover's voice, music to my soul
Sweet lyrical tones echoing through the day
Giving purpose, resolve, overwhelming love.
Time no longer pressing hard, so swiftly lost
But each minute precious, memory enshrined
Enhanced with my lover's voice, cherished
Echoing like soft pealing bells, my ecstasy.
Never knew nor had understood such love
Until my lover entered and engulfed my heart
Sweetly flooding with waves of joy and happiness
Creating desire for being soulmates until we die
Sharing, encouraging, supporting, faithful.
My lover is part of me, the beat of my heart
Reason with delight for each breath I take.
