I Hear (A Poem At The Beginning Of The Day)



I HEAR (A POEM AT THE BEGINNING OF THE DAY)

I hear
And you too can hear
The silence at the break of day.
It says to us
‘The world can begin again
if we can see it and believe it’
Now at the edge of another beginning
I write these small lines
For you for me for all of us
Who need to live again.
