At one time
Your darkness enveloped
My whole world;
But you could NOT
Break this spirit.
I beat you
At your own game;
Prevailed
Against the savagery
That brought me to my knees.
Then I broke you 'little c'
Down to nothing more
Than a mongrel disease
Cowering in the shadows.
I called you into light,
Stood firm
On holy ground;
And by that Grace
Put an end to you.
How sweet now
Is my victory,
For I am sound,
No more of you
Can be found...
And I HAVE WON! !
