I have always thought of you
each separately
my angel and my wife
but you are one with me
my shelter my guiding light
bringing home from stormy seas
on dark and treacherous nights
waking me from tormenting dreams
when I thrash in bed at night
healing my wounded heart
when my world comes apart
you don't understand the drive in me
yet you are my partner by my side
and you heal the wounds I have
and you love me as I die
then you in turn are my everything
my one my only bride
