I Don'T Know Where You Are Poem by Annie Badillo

I Don'T Know Where You Are

I don't know where you are

but i do know that i want
YOU to know that i
really resent you

and your games of hide n seek
and tickle monster

it went like this

i was young
a baby really
and you would help me hide.
well you would hide with me.

you would make me do things
i didn't want to do and i
thought it was just a game
that we kept secret

but games are supposed to
be harmless and
fun
and not
secret.

It wasn't a game. It was
cruelty at it's
finest

thank you for
utterly and completely
confusing me.
