I'D Rather Love You Poem by Ashley Young

I'D Rather Love You

Rating: 4.0

I sit at home waiting for your call
Not sure if you would call at all

I call you up, your not there
I wanted to ask if you cared

You finaly called after weeks of waiting
I think my love for you is fadeing

You say 'I love you' as you hang up
My heart feels like its about to erupt

Confused with life, I wonder why
To lose him I'd rather die

I havn't seen him in a while
I pulled my heart out and droped it on the tile

Watched it shatter into a million peices
Each peice hold a million reasons

You broke my heart
With a lie soaked dart

But thats ok
I want you to stay

I'll just glue the peices
with tears, there might be some empty spaces

Because i'd rather love you
Then love someone new
