I cry when you are with me,
i cry when you are away,
& i still cry when i first see you.

I cry because i love you,
i cry because i care,
& i cry because i would die without you.

I cry to make you love me,
i cry to make you care,
& i cry to make me your best friend.

I cry for you,
morning & night,
& even when i awake in the middle of the evening.

I cry to see you smile,
i cry to see you laugh,
& i cry to see you sad.

I cry because you are my best friend,
my friend who i couldn't dare live without,
& i cry to make you understand how much i love you.

I cry when you are gone,
because i am scared,
i cry when you left me,
& i still cry,
to know that i will never have you back.
