I Counted Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Counted

My Soul's Journey

I counted one,
And it started.
I counted two,
And I went off.
I counted three,
And I speeded up.
I counted four,
And I slowed down,
I counted five,
And it stopped,
I counted six,
And the world became mine.
I counted seven,
And I was introduced to Heaven.
