I Could See Poem by Ray Hansell

I Could See

I could see that you were nervous
It was written on your face
But when it comes to me
I want to know I know my place

I'd never make you do anything
That you didn't want to do
I'd never do anything
That would ever hurt you

I hope you always know that
So, please don't ever forget
That I wouldn't do anything
That I might regret

So, if you ever doubt
If you're ever unsure
Remember when it comes to you
Your feeling, I'll never ignore

Remember more than anything
My love for you is true
That means doing anything
That you want or don't want to do
