I Can'T Take It Anymore Poem by Aryn James

I Can'T Take It Anymore

I just want to run away from all of this,
The drama, the tears, the pain,
I can’t take it!
It’s just too much for me right now.

I’m like a crumbled piece of paper,
I’m fine and there are no creases, till you crumble me up and throw me away,
Then you want to start over so you pick me back up and tape back the torn holes.
But, when I least expect it, you mess up again
And there I go back into the recycling bin of your past loves.

You have no idea the impact this puts on me.
Once I think my heart is broken to the point of no repair,
You find a way to break it even more,
And I just can’t take it!

My mother says that running away is for cowards,
Well then put me into that category
Because all I want to do is flee this over populated field
And find my happiness.
