I Am Waiting For Silence Poem by Shalom Freedman

I am waiting for calm-
I am waiting for another feeling entirely-
Now there is a breeze-
No I have a bench
And an open landscape before me-
Now I can breathe
Now I can write
Now I can be
Now I can believe
Now I can see the light
And be quiet breathing it in-
