I Am Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I am simple fool
Never proved as successful
Remained as tool
In somebody's thought of school

Always afraid
And wrong laid
With thoughts and perception
That had no real relation

I was supposed to be human
Live peace and remain as common man
Feel for their plight and pain
Associate fully and silently remain

Greed remained my weakness
That was always reflected on face
Even ordinary man could make it out
All people from back were talking about

Yes even selfish and arrogant
Proudly felt too instant
Word was only to be breached
The honor was never searched

Such a man and creature I am
No one can push me or tame
I should kicked by almighty at proper time
As I have talked nothing good at any time
