Hurt Poem by John Watt

Hurt

Rating: 2.8

What will make the hurt stop?
I don't know.
But I do know there is more hurt ahead,
Is it my hurt/
I don't know.
Is it your hurt?
I don't know.
But I do know,
Either way I will feel the hurt.
When will the hurt the stop?
I don't know,
Maybe when I am no more.

Yea. You can't sit an empty glass on a table and expect people to drink out of it. GW62

I would agree with Dee's comments here. We need the downs to appreciate the ups. But at the same time, when the hurt is there it hurts like a knife in the heart that feels that it will never be drawn out. One thing I do know: the hurt will stop. Mind over matter, or matter/circumstances over mind: 'tis a fact of life. Methinks you need hugs. Have a couple from me. t x

Hurt need not be a bad thing...at least it reminds us that we are truly still alive... Hugs, Dee
