Hunter's Bullet Poem by indira babbellapati

Hunter's Bullet

A bullet shot blindly
Into the sky left it
In splinters
Scattered feathers
Blown around earth
Birds left to rest
In wounded peace
The redness reflected
On the sky-mirror
Bluish-red stared
Helplessly at the
Lifeless feathers...

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Sometimes aimless shot is more dangerous than one properly directed. We need to learn.

It has deep meaning on symbolic level..just what is going on around us and a poet's heart cries at it.

Nothing escapes a poet's keen observation especially in the heated brooding moment! ! !
