Hungry To Judge Poem by Arno Le Roux

Hungry To Judge

Hungry To Judge

We sleepwalk all silently stalking life's fridge
Eat big bites with blank eyes closed tight fast
What sunrise surprise? with crumbs on the floor

We look for another inside for someone to judge
Get fooled and wait some as we to bed retire last
But wait we hear steps then there a creaking door

Also hungry? who is this leaving crumbs on the edge
Get less sleep then to go quicker next time so fast
What? those steps were most certainly from indoor

We wake up well rested and full ready to judge
Ask around but no one heard steps going past
For tonight? who knows our own feet shuffle more
