Lust Poem by Arno Le Roux

Lust

When your addiction isn't illegal but bordeline insane
Your thoughts and words and actions become hard to tame
Mind over matter in no way as society the same

And you wake and walk and bath and eat and adore
Body of the soulmate you have and have want more
Is a pain you wish away and your being and mind have tore

Glued to the physical attraction like a drug on high
To be the purest and scariest basic instinct why?
Desire eats away you usefulness you mouth always dry

So it is when some of the fellow beings you meet
Strong as gravity you can not pull your mind's need
You wake and walk and bath and eat and greet

Eat into your normal functionality and can't sleep
Read in every situation a certain repeated climax deep
Sleep is your enemy and deprives you as it creep

And you fight it as best you can but you loose
Think of nothing else as hard as you may choose
Her scent and neck and hands and walk to choose

Body steers away from your mind a fight daily you loose...
