Huggers And Bugges Poem by gershon hepner

Huggers And Bugges

Some rabbis like to hug young girls:
don’t mind these huggers;
most priests prefer young boys with curls:
don’t mind these buggers.
The French says chacun à son goût.
It makes no sense
to make what priests and rabbis do
a sick offense.
What hearts desire must be right,
and clearly ten
commandments now sound trite.
Let men be men.

Inspired by David Leonard’s analysis of the crisis in the nglican Church, where the conservative, anti-gays have boycotted the liberal mainline bihsips who are convening in Lambeth. David explains why the conservatives don’t break away:

Anti-females: their problem is that they are on the losing side of the argument so if they stay on, they will be unable to escape female priests and bishops. If they leave they would probably not be able to take property and would have to start a church from scratch unless they joined the Romans. The gays on the other hand have infiltrated the church in force, are happily buggering each other and have no intention of leaving so they would have to be thrown out. That would cause a great conflict and I suspect that they might win. The public cannot see why they should not be buggering each other if they want to.
