How To Bear Humans Poem by Ima Ryma

How To Bear Humans

We bears that live in Yellowstone
Get used to humans in the way.
I act better when I'm alone,
But I've got cubs that often stray
Over to check the humans out,
Causing all to get in a jam.
Humans yell lots and run about,
Causing Mom a lot of stress - damn!
Watching the cubs, I've got to try
Not to panic the humans more,
And find the best way to get by.
Bears are few, but humans galore.

When human and bear jams do come,
Bears must mind that humans act dumb.
