When a pretty girl does suddenly cheerfully laugh
do throw her hair back and pass me,
my senses do become full as if you are right here

I then do remember you

from the flashback memory,
the colour of your eyes
the husky sound of your voice,

I then do remember you

in the walking towards me and the walking away,
as if you are suddenly a part
of every other living woman

I then do remember you.
