How fortunate are we!
Born with two eyes to see,
The blooming flowers in the gardens;
The colours of the world and it's beauty.
Born with with two ears,
Hearing the singing of the birds,
And various sounds we hear.
Born with a mouth to speak; Yet
Comfort is what we seek,
Negating the truth that:
How fortunate are we!
How fortunate are we!
Adored by our lovely family,
Pampered by our parents
Arguing with our siblings; Yet
they are the ones with whom we,
Share our feelings.
Oh! My lord, how ungrateful am I.
For riding the horse so high,
For I never considered of what I have,
But desired for what I need.
Unknowingly that this will never let me succeed.
Oh! My Lord do forgive me,
For my absurdity,
For me not recognizing Thy Glory,
For me being so greedy,
Unaware with the worser lives,
Of the needy.
We need not curse our fates,
For He, being the owner,
Is giving us grates.
Therefore we should be glee, because;
How fortunate are we!

Gratefulness for the apparently simple things is the true clue to happiness and peace of mind. There is so much wisdom in here that tomorrow I will ask my own children to read your poem. Congrats.
