Hope, Love, Faith Poem by Brandon Owens

Hope, Love, Faith

Rating: 5.0

I've never seen God's face
But I've seen murder and rape
I've never felt His hands
But my blood is in the sand
I've never lost my Faith
But I've heard lies from a thief
I've never heard God's voice
But I've made the wrong choice
I've never seen God's grace
Yet I know how bitter tastes

I call out in this holy place

Give us Hope, Love, and Faith
If I can be forgiven
Then forget our sinner ways
We don't mean to chase God away
We don't mean to spit in His face
We're all lost in our unbelief
We don't know what it means
Give us light, a beacon
For this life we're wasting
Will you answer the cry I'm raising

In time, in time,
Love is out dated
And we're losing Faith
I Hope it's not too late
