Hope Poem by Scarlett Voight

Hope

Rating: 4.5

Maze in my heart, where have you taken me?
I trusted in the blue wisp to guide me
How cheerful it looked, yet deception is its core
The knife wrapped in cloth incases bitter truthful sorrows
Such is the destiny of an unprepared soul
Fill the mind with the truth that God holds
Form that resolve into the palm of your hand
Hold it up, that flaming torch and lift it above your head
Burn the walls incasing your heart, let Him ignite it
Forging the path out, Light the way for others
Walking in unmovable strength, smile upon the future

A lovely poem that depicts, faith, hope, total submission to The Will Of God. I like the articulation and insight of the piece. A nice piece indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
