Hope Poem by Kranthi Pothineni

Hope

Rating: 5.0

This burning candle flame tells me
We can lose everything but not hope
Hope that its last lit will not smoke
Into wind to drive far away from home

Those withered flower petals tells me
Our wishes may wither but not our hope
Hope our dark clouds will shower soon
Before our crescent moon see its noon

These widows and kids on streets tells me
Our lives were slaughtered but not hopes
Hope to see our tears to light our nights
And to fight until last breath like knights

Even my dying hope deep inside me tells
Death of hope is far worst then any death
But what shall I say to it? when lives are;
Nothing but a graveyard of hopes...to hope

Hope is a big word that saves many lives. Man is living on hopes that tomorrow will be better than today.

It’s a quick thinking of the mind....alluring to read for a pondering heart....as the soul tremble that faith is nothing but a hope to believe the death is just an acceptance of the great future to come.... thank you and God bless....a 10 +++
