Lost Poem by Kranthi Pothineni

Lost

Rating: 5.0

I got lost in crowd
Lost my way to home
Where my smile smiled
My heart learned tango
Under the tree of mango

They pushed my back
Rubbed shoulders hard
Made me dance to tunes
Of their own wishful wish
They fished me like a fish

I walked on forced path
It took me far from home
Into land of living in fast
Where hearts change fast
While lying on their past

I tried learning its rules
Only to learn I am a fool
When it comes to games
Where rules change quick
With in each seconds click

Now I swim by the push
In a small pond like fish
Wondering on any wish
My heart wishes to make
Which will not be a fake

No good being a big fish in a small pond.

a true indian situation this...you become a fish in a family pond dance to tunes of others...without whole heartedly getting involved...a rare subject

Nice symbolistic poem. I remark with delight that you have a very suggestive technique by which you express your feelings.Thank you for sharing......10++++++++
