Hooverville Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Hooverville

Hooverville

His poem "Integrity"
Takes me to Hooverville
As if is the best ship.

I am wave of the sea
if alive and speak…

so, I shout, scream:
"You, bastard, stupid! "
To corrupt and bully.

I am dead if not dare
To reveal and be bare,
Use few words to tell.

"Governments, presidents
Are the worst disasters,
Vampires, bloodsuckers! "

Friends in USA,
Immigrants of Europe,
Christians, Jews, Muslims,
Can you think, remember
The cause of departures?
And new settlement?

All grew of hunger,
Cruelty, injustice
Imposed by the masters.

They have big storage,
All filled by our workers
And in chains, and slaves!

We are fools if idle,
Obeying these liars
That use us as porters,
Taxpayers and soldiers
To go and defend them,
It is time to choke them
With anger, revolutions!
