Honey Bee Poem by Lento Maez

Honey Bee

Rating: 4.5

A twinkling star whispered to me
A sensuous story about a wandering bee
The flighty bee encased in nectar
Kissed flower upon flower with no exception
Soon the hive was aglow in honey chatter
To the nectared bee it didn't matter
The bee collected the nectar so
The flowers would continue to grow
Flowers continuing to grow simply meant
The bee would kiss them based on their scent
This simple act can let one see
How symbiotic life can be
