I have graced those valleys and I have climbed those sacred mountains.
I was born on that hallowed ground and I would drank from that holy fountain.
I know the dream where you slept in the garden and cared for the beasts that gave the land breath.
In that land, I was the light of life and I was the shadow of death.
I named every fish and every bird and every star in the sky sheltering that land.
I played in the elements and learned all of their secrets and every lesson of man.
You failed to see it when you stole our shores preacher-man…
