His Light Poem by Kirsten Gray

His Light

a tiny light shines in the dark
it's not much just barely more than a spark
but it is there, where no light was before
and with a gasp she falls to the floor

streams of tears flow down her face
because He showed her His unending grace
suddenly on her face appeared a tiny smile
for He had proved that life was worth while

'My Child' He did so sweetly call
'everyone does sometimes fall
just know that forever will i be here
always ready to wipe away your tears'

she dried her tears and raised her head
and thanked the Lord she wasn't dead
into the air she whispered low and strong
'you are the reason i carry on'
