His Ending Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

His Ending

His ending'

"I want home, "
He shouted.
On his cheek rolled tears.
Radio, news on and dangers

"Student killed teacher."
"I want home, "
Eyes cleaned with knuckles
He shouted.

"I want past, "
He said and explained:
"We were safe in childhood."
"Our neighbors were uncles."

He silenced radio.
Poor and weak and shaky
Went to bed crying.
That was it; ‘his ending'.
