It is in His Words that He says
His compassion last forever

Forgive me if I won’t give up
For all I’ve done, people got fed up with me
Their mercy wore out on me
Their compassion were nowhere to be found
Their grace was no longer there for me
But their condemnation I never had to look for
As His Mercy, Compassion and Grace
Just last forever and is brand new every morning

I’ve been condemned and abandoned
By all I knew, from family to friends
But He never left me alone
Since I couldn’t believe His mercy
At times, I couldn’t even see it
Or I would see it but I couldn’t understand it

He is committed to do me good in
The worst of times when everyone is gone
He is still by my side, even when
All I have is nowhere to be found

His love never fails in my heart
He brought me back self-confidence
When I was left by all in the worst of times

It is in His words that He says
His compassion last forever

His goodness brought me to repentance
Forgive me if I won’t give up
For now I can testify that there is hope
I can’t forget where I come from but
Most of all, Who got me out.
