A Volunteer’s Prayer
Dear God, Jesus, My Lord
Holy Ghost, Father I pray You
Please give me strength
So I can have the power to continue,
To do a work that needs to be done
To be strong even in the weakest time
To be able when all seems impossible
To be confident even if I should stand alone
Allow me to make a home out of my house
Allow me to be comfortable even if I should sacrifice
Just please God! Please lord! Jesus!
As I choose to volunteer my time
My energy and all of me
Father God please, please be my guide
Please be my guide, oh Lord
As I volunteer my time with your children
