Hidden Within Poem by Autumn Garrett

Hidden Within

I’m all alone, in a world that’s all my own
I’m swimming in ideas
And walking through trees of thought.
I climb merry mountains
And skate down unpaved paths
But when I write something
I seek someone to share with
Then I see that there’s no one there.
It gets lonely, living life like this.
I know that my mind is nice,
And it’s a happy home for me,
But I’ve been longing for a friend.
Seeking someone else to stay here too,
But no one wants to know
What I have to say.
So I’ll stay here,
All alone,
In a world that’s all my own.
