Hi Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Hi

Hi

I wanted to say hi today,
But you walked right past me.
Trying to catch up as I may,
You alluded me.

You were loaded with files and such.
And you walked as much,
These files could allow.
You walked right by.

I wanted to say hi today,
But you walked by in your usual way.
I had no choice,
But to walk by too.

We both walked towards each other today.
My arms were loaded with papers.
We both collided with files and papers falling.
We both said hi to each other today.
