Hey Friend Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Hey Friend

Hey friend

Hey friend, American
-you who worked in Iran.
-In Radar Stations
- (of Ramsar and Mehran)
-but in fact, you spied
-on Russia and Iraq
-let us see what you've done
-to drive the people against Shah…

Each nation
-each person
-has a sort of pride
-to keep it they will fight.
-It is not only for the Yankees
-deserving to be the "Number One…"

When there, you
-walked around
-chest forward
-and head up
-looking down at us as if slaves
-and you were the master
-indirect and direct you told us:
- "Fetch the ball silly dogs! "

That is what Yankees are
-watch "Ugly American."

You are like centrifuge…
-soon will go others too
-include Israel and Saud.

There will be no use for
-your thirteen Carriers
-none of the Navy Ships
-even the U. S. S. Roosevelt!

In this way
-you will be with yourself
-all alone with a life in your cage…
