I don’t care what you do
it’s definitely none of my business
But you were the one that said
you’d be my friend
“I can be a good friend”
that was your first mistake
I let you be my friend
even though it hurt me to see you
I gave you more than I should have
and did things for you
that I didn’t need to do
that was my first mistake
But what I got in return
was lies
and more lies to cover up those lies
that was your second mistake
you misused my friendship
and I misunderstood yours
it’s a shame because we both know
that we could be great friends
It is difficult to explain friendships gone sour. You did a good job at sharing your feelings. Sincerely, Connie Webb - A ten!

I would like to translate this poem
Katherine, Even though you state with finality that enough is enough you still give a glimpse of why friendship is possible: ''it’s a shame because we both know that we could be great friends...'' Knowing that makes you a poet, being able to write about it makes you a good poet. Rgds, Ivan
