Here I Am Alone In The Vastness Of Time
With the whole day and the whole night
And who knows how many years before me-
It is all open and waiting
And here I am alone and uncertain-
One step can transform the universe
And I am still and silent empty and at bitter peace-
Why?
The whole world opens up before me like a dream
And I cannot take one single step
Into all that vast emptiness.
