Her Sorrow Poem by Seema Jayaraman

Her Sorrow

Rating: 4.7

Her sweet melodious hymn
Ringing from a heavy heart
Another pathetic tune
Woefully rang about her loss

Tears of pain pour from My eyes
The pain in tandem with hers
Her sighs echo in mine
My heart a river in flood
For is it mine or hers, love lost

Sometimes I still hear her
Moaning by the stream
Weeping her heart out
For what could not be
Deep inside I know her loss is mine

I just noted the year this was written? these lines are in harmony with the love and heartbreak. heartbreak hurts but the joy of reading this is immense. Thank you Seema

Yes Rekha, some of the poems I have uploaded in this site is from my ole torn handwritten notebook in which I had gathered a few poems from my 7th grade onwards...many not worth publishing but some of these I saw the merit and decided to post them for hopefully posterity thanks to a wonderful site like Poemhunter..and like I mentioned earlier I wrote the Father's Grief a poem after about 8 years and actually after about 20 years (I had penned a few here and there when my first baby was born! !) post which I had gone into hibernation....

this poem as my eyes, and soul see it. is about Unity and empathy. it's verse hold the secret of the cost one pays for Love. when you truly Love some one their pains become your pain. for the true cost of Love is none other than grief

this verse in my eyes. is about Unity&empathy. it holds the secret of the cost of Love. which is surely grief. for when you Love another in the most true sense. every pain of theirs becomes yours.
