Her Right Eye Poem by Leigh Ladd

Her Right Eye

Her eyes are hazel, maybe green,
But look closely at her right and her truth will be seen.
The truth that she is lying or needs an excuse,
Stare straight into her eye and try not to puke.
Her eye starts to shake then quivers from side to side,
No it's not a case of lazy eye.
It only does that when she has been caught,
Focus again, for her left eye does not.
So that my dear is when you know she has lied,
I'll say it again, look closely at her right eye.
