Her Life Without You Poem by Carla Kitts

Her Life Without You

Her life without you
Is black and white with not a single shade of blue
She tries not to cry
But it's hard when she can't talk you, her guy
You're her reason to smile
The only one she thinks is worthwhile
She tries not to cry during the school day
Waiting to go home and talk with him the night away.
Where is he?
Is he thinking of she?
Her heart is breaking on the inside
The pain she feeels without him she tries to hide
Her Mom doesn't understand
Why she needs him just to stand
